How export works: the video plays through once at your chosen speed and is recorded in real time — so the resulting WebM file is genuinely shorter or longer than the original. Audio quality is best between 0.5×–2×; at extreme values the pitch shifts along with the speed (like a sped-up tape). You'll see and hear the video playing during export — that's expected.
