Upload a video, drag the sliders to pick the start and end of the segment you want, optionally pick a social-media format (Reels/Stories, square, YouTube), and download the result. Everything happens right in your browser — the file is never uploaded anywhere.

The frame will be center-cropped to the format you pick.
Export
Export re-encodes the video frame by frame via canvas and MediaRecorder, so the result is always saved as WebM — a limitation of browser-based video recording. Picking a social-media format (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) center-crops the frame to that aspect ratio. Works best in Chrome / Edge. The segment plays once in real time during export — keep the tab open.
Frequently asked questions
How do I trim a video by time?
Drop a video onto the page or choose a file, then drag the sliders to set the start and end of the segment you want. Press Preview to check it and “Export WebM” to download the result.
Can I make a video for Reels, Stories or TikTok?
Yes. Pick 9:16 (Reels, Stories, TikTok), 1:1 (square), 4:5 (post) or 16:9 (YouTube) and the frame is center-cropped to that aspect ratio.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. The video is processed right in your browser and never sent anywhere, so file size is limited only by your device.
Why is the result saved as WebM and not MP4?
The browser records the video frame by frame with its built-in MediaRecorder, which saves WebM files. If you need MP4, convert the result with our video converter.
Why does export take as long as the segment itself?
During export the segment plays in real time while it is recorded. Keep the tab open and in front until recording finishes. Works best in Chrome and Edge.
