No. An Apple Wallet pass (.pkpass) has to be signed with an Apple developer certificate, so the site makes its own card instead: it stays on your phone, opens without internet and shows the same code. At the entrance it scans just like the original ticket.
The site reads the code from your file and redraws it unchanged — after drawing it is checked with the same scanner. The data inside the code stays the same, so the gate or the staff see the same ticket. Turn the screen brightness up before scanning.
A ticket or boarding pass PDF, an XML file with ticket data, a .pkpass pass from Apple Wallet, or a photo or screenshot with a QR code. QR, Aztec and PDF417 (boarding passes and rail), Data Matrix and regular barcodes are supported.
No. PDFs, XML and photos are processed right in the browser, and saved tickets stay only on this device.
Open the page once with internet and save the ticket — after that it opens from “My tickets” offline too. To be safe, also save the image to Photos: it helps if the site data gets cleared.
Yes. Upload the .pkpass file — the site shows the pass code and details, and you can save it as a card or an image.
